We invited our community of artists to consider the word “perspective” as they submitted pieces for our exhibit, “The Way We See It”. For some, they interpreted it as an interesting angle that a subject might be viewed from, for others, it’s more about how they perceived the subject.

Everyone has a unique viewpoint or interpretation and this exhibit captures these perspectives through 29 artworks consisting of photography and paintings, created by:

Many of the pieces are accompanied by a message from the artist explaining their perspective, the meaning, or the story behind their work.

The exhibit will be on display from July 4^th through August 31^st with the reception scheduled mid-way through on July 18^th at 7 pm – George Harold Epp (Terra Sinfonica) will be playing for those in attendance!

Winkler Arts and Culture is thrilled to host the P2P Show this June. Curated by Golden Prairie Arts Council, this traveling exhibit will be showcased in multiple galleries throughout south-central Manitoba, including ours.

The P2P Show celebrates the artistic talent and creative expression of local artists from our region. As this exhibit journeys across different communities, it offers a unique opportunity to experience a diverse range of perspectives and artistic styles.

We are always amazed by the talent found within the art programs at both Garden Valley Collegiate and Northlands Parkway Collegiate. This May, we are once again celebrating the next generation of artists who will go on to bring colour, design, and expression into the world!
