| “Over the last decade, I’ve had the opportunity to experience a wide variety of landscapes and cultures. Although most of the time I was travelling as a musician, I did get the chance to venture out to camp, hike, photograph, and paint. Everything in this show is a result of those travels. Every painting is based on an experience I’ve had, or a place I’ve been. The CRJAE provides an opportunity for artists to receive professional critique from jurors on their work and display their work in professional settings across the Central Region of Manitoba.
This year we received 51 submissions from 21 artists.
From all the submissions 20-30 pieces will be selected to tour across Central Manitoba.
From the pieces selected to tour, 10 pieces are chosen to receive an invitation
to participate in the Manitoba Rural & Northern Juried Arts Show hosted by the MB Arts Network.
The CRJAE is made possible by the efforts of the Central Cultural Council and generously supported by the Manitoba Arts Council.

Wayne Letkeman Exhibit

Wayne was born and raised in southern Manitoba and currently resides in Ashern.
Wayne started painting in 2017 and has since completed over 400 pieces. He specializes in landscape and seascape work with some silhouette work as well. His medium of choice is oil on canvas, granite, wood, and ceramic tiles.
